Guided Trips - Frequently Asked Questions

D.O.A. does NOT provide guided trips but can put you in touch with Captains and Guides that are proficient at using D.O.A. Lures and that are reputable guides in the areas you wish to fish.

You will possibly be fishing waters which have produced world class game fish. Contact information for Guides who are experts at using D.O.A. products will be sent to you upon request.

We at D.O.A. strongly support catch and release. Remember, when removing a fish from the water for a picture, to do it swiftly and carefully as to return the fish to the water with as little stress as possible.

You Should Bring the Following on Your Guided Trip:

• Your favorite rod and reel (be sure to check with your guide for the recommended rod/reel & line size for your trip).
• A cool, long sleeve shirt if the weather is warm or a sweatshirt if the weather is cool.
• Rain gear.
• Soft soled shoes so as not to scratch the guide’s boat. Do Not wear shoes with “black” soles.
• Hat, sunscreen, sunglasses.
• Any other personal item you require.

Tip:

Be sure your guide is Licensed and Insured.If your guide does a good job for you, be sure to tip him/her.
